Maison Shalom

Maison Shalom is a non-denominational and apolitical Burundian NGO for the reunification of families and the reintegration of orphaned children and refugees. It has grown from the vision of Marguerite “Maggy” Barankitse, who with her team works relentlessly and with great enthusiasm to offer a dignified future to children whose lives have directly or indirectly been affected by civil war and the AIDS epidemic.For more detail we recommend the book (in French):
